Check it out guys, we are getting everything together for this years' Freak Show. It is going to be held at the Lenoir County Fairgrounds in Kinston, NC again but this year will be different. There will be a campground (where you do what you want to do) and a car show field (where you show you ride and that's it!). This is a new approach we are taking to allow all ages to enjoy the vehicles of Freak Show. The 'Show Field' will be seperated from the campground area and will close at 7pm each night. On Sunday, the entire show will be open for all ages and the party is over for the campers. This is going to be the best Freak Show ever and we will make sure that is the case. The dates have changed a little bit, going to October 15-18 this year. We will have the details of Freak Show up on the site as soon as we get past Draggin Nationals coming up in August. This kinda sucks that the date has changed... my brother is getting married the 17th.. and now I got to choose and I didn't think I would have to bc freak show is generally later. Its either miss freak show or drive 3.5 hrs back home and then back to the freak.. :*( |

Just to let you guys know, the date change was out of our control. We had the original dates booked but because of some fairgrounds political bullshit, our reservation was ignored. I just want you guys to know that this is not intentional and it isn't permanent, just something we had to do this year to have Freak Show back in Kinston. Kinston is the best place we have found to do this show and we are actually being invited into the town now, rather than being pushed away. Sorry guys, but the show is going to kick ass either way! See you guys there and all of the information should be on the site by the middle of August. PEACE |

Got a Question i was reading the Schedule of events and seen that there is a judging tent going to be opened. Now does this mean it will be the same type of judging as last year. Where we have to drive up to the tent with our display, or will there be judges walking around. so people dont set up a display and have to take it down to be judged. |

i thought that the drive through judging was a good thing!! didnt have to spend all day cleaning dust and dirt untill the judges came around, or the judges coming too quickly and i havent wiped my truck down yet....or worse, walking around looking at the other rides and talking to others and the judge comes around while im away and my truck is all closed up!!!! ... just clean it once, and roll through and get judged when your ready... i hope its done the same as last year..
