Here is the latest info as of 03 April 2010 ____________________________________________________ When: Saturday, June 19th, 2010 Where: Bethel Recreational Park Hampton, VA. 23666 Time: 10am - 6pm Events: Car Show, Bass Competition, possible Hydro Hop _____________________________________________ Classes: Import Mild 1-3 ___________________________________ Registration: 10am - 1pm Cost: $20 to pre-register, $25 day-of Music/Announcements: We will have a live DJ, either DJ Dammitmanx or DJ Drew Sponsors: Mos~Quix inc., Langley AFB 1st Services Sq. Community Center Judges: Looking for 2 more Judges as we speak Coverage: SERVIN'EM Low Rider DVD's
Rules: No Loud Music except during bass comp, no speeding.. Speed limit is 10mph, absolutely no dragging or burn-outs in the park, and expect families so please avoid wearing obscene clothing or using profanity.
Food: Langley AFB's 1st Equipment Maintenance Squadron Booster Club will be selling food to help raise money for their organization, so please feel free to contribute.
Club Participation: Club Battle Tug 'o War.. May the best team win!!
Park Ammenities: We will have access to 2 sand volleyball courts, a paintball range, and a shaded playground area for the kids. *To use the paintball range you must book your play in advance through the Langley AFB M.W.R. office. If you're interested in playing while you're there, please e-mail us and we'll get you their contact info!
Additional Info: Judges are not affiliated with Evasive Illusions in any manner. Should evidence be found that a Judge has ties to any member, the affected member or members will immediately be removed from competition to ensure fairness.
Under Construction: Rides must be at least 75% primered to be considered for this class/award.
Pre-Registration: Opens May 1st, 2010!! We will have a registration form that you can fill out on our website. Remember, if you pre-register the price is less than if you register at the show. You will also be able to enter the grounds quicker for better parking, not to mention that based on pre-registration, we may even add additional classes to compete in, so what are you waiting for!?! ***UPDATE*** We're now in works to host a Hydro-Hop at the show, as well as a Bass-Off competition! Both events have been approved, just working out the details! | ||

UPDATE (19Apr10) We just set up the Sound Competition for the show, fully equipped with a professional meter and 4 classes, 1st-3rd in each!! This is big news people, lets get the word out to everyone with a system to bring their ride out so we can send some people home with a trophy! You know someone with a sound shop? We're also looking to do a dealer challenge! If we get a good enough response from shops as far away as can make it, we're gonna throw another big trophy in the mix just for them. Bring what you got and walk away with the trophies and the respekt! |
